Perimenopause friendly Christmas outfit

I had planned what I was going to wear on Christmas day- a lovely velvet top and trousers.

However, I wore I the other night and had to get changed into a t shirt part way through the evening as I was BOILING!
Am going to have to rethink.

5'11, size 20, big boobs.

Any ideas?,

That's very annoying isn't it? Velvet suits Christmas but I think even the really expensive brands are man made fibre - polyester and viscose etc.

Sorry no suggestions but commiserations because I've been there so bumping for you.
