Stylish slippers for wearing at Christmas.

Does anyone know where I can get some stylish slippers for times when I’m either at home entertaining or at friends homes over the Christmas period.
I find you get all glammed up then have to take your shoes off and either go barefoot or take/ wear slippers.
The ones I wear at home are rather plain and functional and usually rather scruffy.
Any ideas?

@Tomatoblush Do you mean friends who make you take off shoes when you visit? If so, I'd suggest getting nice shoes which you only wear indoors, which you demonstrably put on when you arrive, and assure the friends they're never worn outside.

I don't understand why you'd need to wear slippers at home if you don't want to.

What about foldable ballet flats? They will fit in your bag and you can get metallic ones.

I take my little fluffy UGG slippers, they’re fairly unobtrusive looking and the fluffy back bit makes me feel like they’re a bit fancier than the regular slippers 😂
