I was a child in the 70s. I wore hand me downs mostly, and they were flared jeans and rainbow tops type things, a bit of a disco more than a hippie vibe. I had a fabulous rainbow swimming costume, some amazing shorts, and mum made me the occasional more formal dress for family pics/occasions which, thinking back, if it weren't for my age and the color of the dress, would be very "vampire's wife" brand in that they seem a little Victorian.
