Size 18/20 with smart party in August; want a posh/nice/flattering dress...

I thought Bravissimo only did underwear, then was flicking through a catalogue at my mums and was so impressed with their clothes!

they have a special sizing and it says not to order usual size - you have to measure around waist and bust to find out your size.

not done it myself but... might go searching for a tape measure!!

I have nice hair - bust is reasonable size (40 D/DD) and am blonde, fair skin, blue eyes, 5ft7

The thing is, I'm a 20 atm but am going on a strict diet so hoping to be at 18 then; possibly (if I go hell for leather on weightloss) a large 16...

It's for my mum's 50th birthday bash (incase that matters!)

I absolutely love this but it's not big enough ... shame really; I love the colours/shape of it.

I don't mind sleeves or straps, or halter - would prefer something that goes with a cardi/coverup bolero type thing cos hate my arms.

Have you tried asking at Monsoon what sizes it comes in? Their website is mostly appalling IME at selling anything other than a v limited amount of sizes.

Funnily enough I am currently looking for exactly the same thing as I have a family party to go to on Sunday (better get a move on I suppose).

I have just discovered this website and quite like this one or this one in turquoise. I don't like my arms either so this should cover up the bat wings quite well.
