Name of the tags to get shoes on easier?

I have a relative who struggles to put their slippers on. I want to get some of those tag loop things you put a finger in and pull on like you get on boots They should be able to sew them on. Anyone know the correct name of such a thing?

I don't know... not a shoe horn, but that might help? Sorry I'm not much use!

Sketchers do a range with a sort of built in shoehorn. They slip on, so no bending down.

Sketchers slip ons are great. I have a pair.

Can you just get some ribbon or tape and sew them on?

HaveACheekyChristmas · 05/12/2025 14:55

@CalmShaker They are called heel loops I believe.

They are the modern version of boot straps as in 'pull yourself up by your boot straps"!

Thanks for all suggestions everyone

Ideally I want to just add to what I have and sew on rather then buy new.
I've searched for all loops mentioned but so far no joy. Frustrating as I can visualise exactly what I need (a medium sized loop really that can be attached) but can't find it
