DD6 loves sequins. But I'm trying to reduce our output of microplastics. I'm ok with the sequins to wash- I'll do it in a bag do if some come off I can collect them up but all sequiened/sparkly/swooshy/poofy little girl dresses are polyester and I can't accept the microplastic shed in the wash. I can't find any that aren't! Any help gratefully received
(Yes I know that the process of making sequins is bad for the environment and honestly I just can't be perfect but not having polyester and acylic on the regular is just a small step I'm taking... I'm not claiming to be perfect!)

I’d look on vinted for monsoon. We’ve got quite a few cotton bodied dresses with embroidery and just a few sequins. Sequins all over on top are scratchy on arms and on the bottom if you sit down can poke you according to my daughters.

I think she just likes flounce. The new Monsoon id seen still had polyester linings. Did older ones not?

The older stuff seems to have been made in India ( according to tag) and have cotton linings. The newer stuff seems to be made in China with polyester linings.
