Help me find a party dress 40 size 14/16

As the title says. Something classy and maybe with a bit of sparkle. My tummy is a bit wobbly and I am self conscious of it so somethibg to flatter would be great. Budget up to £200 max!

There are hundreds out there, much of a muchness any will do.

Who do you usually buy from. Just today saw cute sparkle Next, Mint, M&S even Matalan. You can spend more if you want to.

Have a look on Vinted, there are some fabulous pieces for sale at a greatly reduced price, great if you’re only going to wear the outfit once or twice, you can search by new with tags. Hope this helps.

depends on your taste, obviously, but I have a couple of Never Fully Dressed Tilly Dresses. It’s extremely comfortable and forgiving and I always feel good in it. I have it in royal blue with silver splodges and in black with gold splodges. 14-16 is a size large.

Boden isn’t very popular on here but I’ve got a party dress from there which I love. Their Black Friday sale might still be on as well.

This style is quite forgiving to those of us with a bit of a tummy.

When it was time to update my "going out" clothes last year (at age 46), a friend took me to 'Apricot'.

Their prices are at the lower end of your budget. Lots of different styles available in dresses and tops, many with some seasonal sparkle 🌟

M&Co of all places have some lovely party dresses on sale and they are very cheap. I have the first one I’m posting (the black with gold maxi) and it’s great - got several compliments when I wore it. There are loads on the site.
