Weird hair curl driving me mad - ideas?

Since having my 2nd child, I've had strange little tufts of curly hair growing around my hair line. The ones around my ears are not too bad when I wear my hair down but this one at the front (see pic) is beginning to irritate as it won't behave no matter how i wear my hair. It appears no matter how I part my hair. Cutting it off seems a bad idea as I assume it'll grow in eventually. Hair spray to flatten it just makes my hair look greasy.

Any ideas of what else I can do to improve it or work with it??

Comb it straight and clip it to the adjacent hair with a few curl clips, the sort you’d use to get a kiss curl, but you’re going to be clipping the offending hair straight. Works dry on my hair, which is very prone to the odd curl/kink/sticky up bit, but you might need to dampen it and allow to air dry whilst clipped. Don't forget to remove the clips once dry, and certainly before you go out. Ask me how I know…….

It’s very fashionable right now, so you’re fortunate. I would lean into it and ask your hairdresser for a cut that emphasises the curls at the front.
