Magic Tan spray tan - will I look foolish when I come out of the salon?

I've had St Tropez rub-on salon tans before and scuttled home feeling ridiculous - are spray tans the same? I have to pick the DDs up from nursery afterwards!

I had one for a wedding last year,and it was great,I had a trial run the week before and am glad I did, it took 48 hours to darken properly,so I had it done thurs am for a sat pm wedding made me look tanned and healthy rather than my normal pale self.I loved the fact that it was in a booth with what I can only discribe as a dance mat type of set up,with a recording telling me what to do,so no model type beautician seeing my flabby bits

I have had both - the rub down all over was deff better coverage and lasted me 10 days. The spray was ok, but my legs were not good. They were patchy and a little embarrasing. I flew to france that eve so couldn't go back and show them and get anything done about it.

So did you look human when you actually stepped out of the salon herons?

Yes,in fact I was a bit disapointed that I did not really look any different,but over the next few hours I could really see the gradual change.
the only part of me that was a bit patchy was the palms of my hands,but I think that was because when the machine said turn over hands I couldent remember which way up they were in the first place are you having a booth spray or a person? I love the idea of total privacy,but some of my friends prefer to be sprayed by a person.
