Dress for Xmas meal for new job

I'm meeting my team/company for the first time for a Xmas meal. I'll be getting a long train journey, hanging round in a coffee shop for a couple of hours then meeting them for a meal and drinks after
I'll be wearing black high boots (I don't do heels) and probably black tights due to varicose veins
I'm 5'4 13 stones so guessing a size 16 in most places. Weight on my tummy and bum with small boobs
Any help please?
I like this but no sizes available https://www.boden.com/products/marcia-jersey-shirt-dress-french-navy-square-geometric?_pos=133&_fid=f53b1b6b3&_ss=c

Marcia Jersey Shirt Dress-French Navy, Square Geometric

Cut from soft jersey, our Marcia dress is both comfortable and flattering. The classic shirt dress shape and waist-defining belt say you mean business. Choose a different print for every day of the week.

Hanging around in a coffee shop for two hours after a long train journey doesn’t sound ideal. Particularly if you’ll then be sitting for another couple of hours at lunch. Is there really no art gallery or bookshop, riverside walk or park or public garden you could wander around for one of those hours? Obviously it depends whether you’ll be in London or the Lake District!

Not my idea of a fun afternoon either but I'll be working on the train and until the meal, thats been made very clear to me!

Oh, no! My sympathies - working on a train is vile.

Hope the dress works out, anyway.

You're making me think I should take the afternoon as annual leave. Get comfy on the train with a book then stroll round and enjoy myself when I get there...tempting!
