Plus size - What are you wearing for your Christmas Parties this year?

Inspired by the other thread on this, I thought we could do with a plus sized edition to share what we're wearing to our Christmas parties this year.

Like the OP on the other thread, I have a few events coming up and need some inspiration for nice, but not overly dressy outfits, and I'd love seeing what others are wearing - but very few of the suggestions on that thread go up to my size.

(I hope MN will allow a thread about a thread on this occasion to accommodate us curvier MNers!)

If anyone's looking for an absolute bargain sparkly dress, I got this and it's nice - £11.99 in the sale. Available in 20, 22 and 24 at the moment. I think

But it's overdressed for the parties I'm going to - will need to invent an occasion for it!

I'm just bumping for you really, as not currently plus-sized after a bit of weight loss. But this time last year, at a size 16/18, I wore a short black, slightly sparkly dress, fit and flare, slight stretch to it. With black patterned tights.

The dress you linked to looks great!

P. S. I might even wear it again this year, at a size 14, as I expect it'll still fit fine because of the stretch! I also have a short, burgundy velvet mini dress, with a loose fit and an interesting neckline! Or a short silky black skirt, with a slightly slouchy black cashmere jumper. My taste hasn't really changed between sizes anyway, and I still have most of my clothes from last year !

I’m plus sized but thank goodness not going to any Christmas parties.
I was in Bon Marche yesterday and they had some really nice sparkly tops. Yes, some of their stuff is old fashioned but there are also some gems.
I also like M& Co - online at least, not been in a real shop of theirs for years. And a friend rates Roman.
A nice top and jeggings is my go to.
