Want to help me find a new bag (same as the old bag)?

My battered old bag is coming to the end of its life 😬 I love it and it’s perfect for my needs.
I bought it used on eBay and it’s now old old (90s?).
It’s from Whistles, olive green ponyskin on one side and matching leather on the other. It has a small zippered pocket inside, a long zip on top and loops that the original shoulder strap clipped to.
If I found another one exactly the same but in better condition I’d have it.
The crucial things are 1) the sideways rectangular shape (it’s about 30cm l x 14cm w), 2) loops to attach a separate strap, 3) zip closure. I love the ponyskin ideally but would consider in another texture. Budget not especially important for exactly the right thing but I paid 🥜🥜🥜 for this secondhand and it has been a workhorse.

Have you tried eBay as well? I think you will probably have to keep on looking and it may take some time to find another identical one. Maybe in a different colour. You might have to compromise and buy something to tide you over.

Yes of course, I don’t mind something that isn’t exactly the same. I did buy a replacement that turned out to be too heavy and deep and annoying to carry so I’m back at square one.

I think it’s the shape that works so well, not utterly flat but not bulky like a camera bag and not deep so I don’t lose things in it.

Have been looking at Vinted and eBay but I don’t have a saved search so maybe I should experiment with that. Hard to know what the most effective search terms would be, there are always thousands of results and still nothing suitable!

A few suggestions. Some of the Ridley ones come in other colours. The green Mulberry is lovely but might be a bit pockety for you - and is definitely ££&

Thank you! The Mulberry is lovely. Ideally I’d prefer something simpler but the shape is right and I like gold (or brass or bronze) hardware.

It’s surprisingly hard to tell what colour hardware is in photos so I’m kind of a nightmare on Vinted 😀 sending endless messages 😀
