another 'what should i do with my hair' thread

i had my hair cut short before Christmas....it's now growing out and has got to just below my ears....but looks untidy.
I can't decide whether to go for a really short crop or persevere and grow it again. The only thing that bothers me is that i have quite a 'prominent' nose and i don't know if having it cropped makes it more obvious or not.
I'm dainty in a Winona Ryder kind of way, and my hairdresser says i'm lucky that i can carry off any style but i don't know if she's just pushing my buttons! (i say 'my' hairdresser, after years of disasters i finally found a girl i feel comfortable with, who listens to what i want)
I like my hair long, but it's fine and used to be very curly which has abandoned me and left a wavy 'mind of it's own mess' and i've learnt from experience anything past a short bob is hard to work with and keep looking tidy. I'm also wary of just looking too boyish.....

ah bum......i want my curls back, it was so much easier then!
so to crop or not to crop.....and if not what the hell kind of style do i go for?

what about something like this sort of thing?

ps - your nose is not as large as you make out - I was expecting it to be huge, it looks quite normal to me.

you would suit a nice sharp bob I think...and nose looks perfectly fine to me !

Furball · 09/06/2008 14:06

this also nice

MargaretMountford · 09/06/2008 14:09

yes, that one looks good

ah.....i generally don't put side profile picks ups because it is more noticeable then. but then.....maybe it's one of those things that i am conscious about that no-one else notices.

i think for now i'm just going to have my hair trimmed up into a bob ( the back is quite long because of the style of cut i had before) and see how i feel with that. If i'm still fed up with it in a month i'll go and have a chat with my hairdresser about what to do......

A bob would be good (says the woman who got lots of advice on bobs a week or two ago!). I love that one that Furball linked to and it would suit you cos it should emphasise your huge eyes.
