I've been looking for some closed-toe slingbacks. What do cod and MrsBadger the Mumsnet S & B gurus think of
these?

I tried them on and they feel great as they are not too high.

not part of S&B contingent but personally I think they're foul..............., probably dead comfortable though!

Nbg · 08/06/2008 17:39

Arghhhhhh

Nbg · 08/06/2008 17:44

hoxtonchick · 08/06/2008 17:47

lou33 · 08/06/2008 17:49

dont like them, sorry

love the ones in nbq's second link though

Swedes · 08/06/2008 17:53

Bbg - I love your first ones but the heel height is "very high". They are too high for me. I want to something to wear with skirts (with my school run skirts ), something comfortable enough to be able to walk in for miles.

Bbg Nbg - sorry!

Ahh now I was looking for more formal ones.

What colour would you prefer?

Swedes · 08/06/2008 17:58

Black I think.

Are you The Queen? She wears shoes like that.

Swedes · 08/06/2008 18:01

[crying now]

Can I just ask,
why black?

Black shoes always seem too formal to me. Especially in the style you want.

There is no such thing as 'too high'. The higher the better. You will be taller, your legs look better, you walk with more confidence and look more glamorous.

The shoes in the OP are horrible, too chunky. All nbg's ones were lovely.

DirtySexyMummy · 08/06/2008 18:14

Also meant to say I agree about black.

Black shoes for suits and funerals.

Nbg · 08/06/2008 18:18

Right

I have decided I shall convert you to non black wearing shoe lady.

DirtySexyMummy · 08/06/2008 18:22

How about something like these?
Or, if you must have black, www.net-a-porter.com/product/31047these?
Or something like these?

DirtySexyMummy · 08/06/2008 18:22

Sorry - second link again here

MsDemeanor · 08/06/2008 18:23

ooh, ugly shoes!

Nbg · 08/06/2008 18:23

Ok

Not too high, will look great in the summer and the colour will almost go with anything
These are really dark brown and will be even more versatile with your clothes
I'm not all that keen but they arent hideous by any means, are still lowish and a good colour

Just off to do a bit of parenting and I'll be back with some more

DirtySexyMummy · 08/06/2008 18:24

Or, these?
these?
