Cosy fleece - NOT recycled!

Hello!

I’m after one of those big thick cosy fleeces that are everywhere - you know usually a two way colour block with a full or half zip, and a chest pocket…

The only problem is that they all seem to boast to be “recycled”. I hate the feel of them. I’ve ordered a couple and had to send them back. I’m not entirely sure what traditional Borg/fleece is made from (maybe a mix of cotton and polyester) but does anyone have a recommendation of any that aren’t made from that horrible plasticky recycled fleece please?

What brands have you looked at so far?

I know Fatface do some but I haven’t looked at the website to check the materials. You could also try Next.

I thought they were all made from recycled plastic bottles these days.

But recycled is good for the environment, it’s not a joke!

Wool ones here
This site has some wool ones, they’re pricey though.
I know what you mean about the feel. I’ve got two double thickness fleeces from M&S, one green, one beige, that I’ve had for a couple of years and they are so warm. I saw they had a black one but I went to have a look and it was really shiny and nowhere near as nice as the others.

I know it isn’t. But I’m going to have to save the world in other ways I’m afraid. I can’t cope with the plasticky feel of the recycled fleeces
