Halara trousers and jeans, are they worth the hype?

I’m on a constant quest for stylish, but also comfortable jeans and trousers!! I am being relentlessly advertised these, but are they actually worth it? I’ve seen a few of the nice low rise jeans styles on the website, but not sure whether to take the risk! Has anybody tried them? Are they worth the hype?

Watching with interest as I've just ordered two pairs! Should be delivered this week. They look fabulous and v comfy, and I've read really good reviews so fingers crossed

ChronicallyConfusedOnEarth · 18/11/2025 22:12

I have two pairs of the jeans in the wide legged style but two different shades, I love one pair but the other pair absolutely stinks of some diesel type chemical smell. They’ve been washed 10 times and still stink. Looking at the reviews it’s a common issue, I got refunded.

To be honest, the only people I’ve seen hyping them up is tik tok people whose entire content is product ads, these people get “a sample” aka the products for free, and then commission on the sales from their links.

My pal rates the jeans. I asked on Mrs Gloss and the Goss about the courduroy trousers and was told they're 'laughably see through!'

TartanMammy · 18/11/2025 22:14

I have the wide leg trousers and love them. I have 3 colours as on a deal. They are so comfortable, flattering and versatile.

I should have sized down, as I've lost weight but that's on me not the trousers.

I'm not sure if the jeans would be the same as I find stretchy denim is never good! It sags quickly.

Justastupidgirl · 18/11/2025 22:14

I have a pair of the wide leg trousers. They're pretty much what it says on the tin. Flattering comfy work trousers.

SellFridges · 18/11/2025 22:15

I’ve got the corduroy trousers and they’re a bit low waisted and a bit short (which is weird as I have short legs). On the ads they show them rolled up a little which I would be fine with but they don’t hold the roll at all.

I’ve been put off the jeans as a result,

Purplecatshopaholic · 18/11/2025 22:15

I have a pair of their combats. I like them. Nice and stretchy, flattering, wash well. Don’t pay full price, they have regular sales.

TheBeaTgoeson1 · 18/11/2025 22:18

Thanks for all this feedback!! I’ll have a bit more of a think, and then probably order loads, and then hoard more colours if I like them 😬😬

I have two pairs of Halara waffle trousers and really like them for work. Comfortable and smart enough. A friend said her pair bobbled after a few washes but mine haven’t so far.

Freezingflowers · 18/11/2025 22:26

I recently bought the high waisted wide legged jeans and I love them.
I really struggle with the current fashion for high waisted jeans as they cut me in half and I cannot wear them as I'm so uncomfortable. These however are super comfy.
I'm 5ft5 and have a regular pair and petite, and would say the petite fit better.

Mamadothehump · 18/11/2025 22:41

I have the wide leg and flared jeans and I really like them! Very comfy and I feel, flattering. I’m 5ft 8, size 8-10 and ordered size small, long and they fit perfectly! I ordered through tik tok as they were cheaper on there than the Halara site.

Sheggsie · 18/11/2025 22:45

I was put off by Trustpilot reviews.

CharlotteCChapel · 18/11/2025 23:53

I have the waffle fabric smart trousers. I wear them regularly. I also have a pair of cheesecloth trousers which I've never worn. They're both long but whilst my roae ones are a good length the black ones need heels.

Redrosesposies · 19/11/2025 00:02

I love the look of the Halara wide leg jeans but I have refrained from ordering them because I want to look like I did in 1974 when I last wore them and I know they won't🤣🤣

Comfiest jeans and trousers ever!

honeylulu · 19/11/2025 23:04

I've got three pairs of halara shorts/skorts which I love. Also the maxi skirt in light green (now want more colours!) And the work trousers with buttons up the front. They are so comfy but very high waisted and accentuated the belly area. But that motivated me to lose a few pounds and I've been wearing them a lot recently.

I want to get more of the work trousers in a mid or low rise and a jacket/blazer. I've got an old m&s one in soft fabric but it's at the end of its life and I need to replace it with something that looks smart but feels soft and comfy to wear.

In short, I'm a fan!
