Trying to make these boots sexy....failing miserably!

Knee high soft brown leather boots. Totally flat

I was trying and failing to use what I have already but think I have to shop...
For a nice dinner in a nice hotel.

Size 14. Impressive boobs so nothing strapless. Its winter so nothing cold. Need tights. Age 40.

I think my periM has shot any style I had in the head (or foot...) . My brain just can't make them look nice!

They’re just not a sexy boot OP. There are lots of cool ways you could wear them but not as part of a sexy dinner outfit! Do you have another shoe to work with?

Long boots can be very sexy, but these aren’t. Not only are they dead flat, but they are cut straight up the calf (rather than shaped) so they aren’t even going to make your legs look shapely. Doesn’t mean they aren’t a great, useful boot. But you are going to really struggle to build a sexy evening outfit around them.

This. I don’t love this style but I’d wear them with a mini dress in an autumn colour or maybe a checked mini and jumper.

They’re sexy in a horsey kinda way. I wear long flat boots all winter, but I wear them with really short skirts, nice jumpers and tights. Sexy but not too slaggy is the look I’m going for!!

Well i have similar and I think they are sexy. Do you have good legs? If so Id do a sexy mini dress with tights with them. If not (like me) Id go for something sexy that shows off the girls with them. I have this dress and I wear brown boots like yours with a brown biker jacket and the brown belt. Is the dinner in the same hotel that you’re staying in? If so, can’t you wear the boots in the day and then change into heels in the evening?

A translucent midi skirt is your best bet.

But, in all honesty, they’re not ideal for a date dinner. The hotel is likely to be warm, so the the boots will make you feel much too hot while you’re eating. Your feet and calves will swell up while you’re sitting - so when you get back to your room the boots will be difficult to get off and you’ll be a mess of sweat and panic before any sexiness occurs …

I really like those and used to have a similar pair. But for dinner? My feet and legs would be on fire I'd be so hot. And it's not like you can slip them off under the table!

Agree with the other comments, they're a nice pair of boots, but they are practical/smart and not "sexy" in the sense that they won't dress an outfit up.
