Sali Hughes Revolution Beauty Collaboration Ended - Why ?

Just wondering why the collaboration between Sali Hughes and Revolution Skincare ended.
i thought the products were very well received.

Following as I’m interested too but don’t know the answer!

So odd, I was JUST thinking about these products today.

I don't know why they ended it but as someone inclined to like the products, my guess is becuase they just didn't appeal enough to me to buy them when I could spend more for slightly better ones. While people who were looking at cheaper products probably wanted to go for brands that are either MUCH cheaper or that were much more established?

Sali Hughes isn't that well known. Guardian readers will know her, but outside of this, I doubt that her name on beauty products would create that much interest.

The bottom line must be sales. The products are half price on the Revolution website which is a bargain!

She has her own brand doesn't she now? Rum? I only half follow so I might have that wrong, but maybe a conflict of interest

I wonder if it’s because she’s now got her own brand Rum mascara and has put all her finances into Rum.

Ive not tried it, but people do rave about it

The company and brand was having some difficulty, a deal for a buyer fell through in August, and the company is now trying to reorganize and restructure. I assume whatever deal they had with Sali was too expensive for them?

She has subsequently started her own company with a few others, RUM. It seems all they have so far is mascara, but I'm sure there will be more to come.

Oh, I like the cleansing gel. Time to stock up!
