What Size T-Shirt for a 13 Year Old?

What size t-shirt would you recommend for a thirteen year old girl? Youth sizes available are from XS (length: 52cm) to XL (length: 67cm). When do children start getting into adult sizes? Adult S is length: 71.12cm). I am thinking XL but not sure.

I always go by height rather than age. There can be a huge difference is sizes at 13.

13 year old can be lots of different sizes and heights, just like with any adult

Varies wildly. At 13 mine fitted age 12-13 clothes from the likes of Next, Zara etc. meanwhile her friend (same age) was in ladies size 12.

There's no way to say as it depends on the child and the brand of top. Is it your child, can you go shopping and try some on?

My 9yo is wearing a ladies size 8 top (I'm 5ft 1in and she's almost as tall as me) she's also got very broad shoulders so it fits reasonably well too.

age 13 my daughter was in a child size age 13-14 or a ladies Some of her classmates we’re wearing ladies size 6-8. A few wore a ladies size 10. Sizes varied between XXS to XS to Small.

It’s something only you would know. If it’s for a present for someone else and not your child, ask their parent
To generalise I’d say a size 6 or 8 but it varies wildly from the size and height of the child, to the brands they wear and whether they are used to junior or adult sizing
