Travel engagement ring - where to buy ?

I have a vintage ring which is a bit delicate so I fancy a bit of a treat to wear with my wedding ring day to day but that’s not expensive. I keep seeing ads for “travel rings” but they tend to be huge (2-3carat ) and I’d like something a little less bling - say a nice 0.75 to 1 carat size. I ike a rubover or a square stone. The only style I’m not keen on is the classic round, raised Tiffany type solitaire (don’t look right on me ). I’d like it to look “real” but look nice foo. Has anyone bought any that fit this bill? Show me yours if you have , please! I love a ring thread. Budget around £100 and can be silver as my wedding ring is silver coloured (white gold ) and I know I’ve no chance of gold for this money !

Have a look at cubic zirconia in Argos.

Warren James, silver with cz stone £50 ish Good enough to look authentic, cheap enough to wear on holidays without worrying about loss or damage

I too was going to suggest Warren James

If you have average sized fingers, M&S and Next have some nice wedding ring sets. I have teeny tiny hands and a nickle allergy 🙄so have a cheap Amazon sterling silver ring along with a £80 ish Pandora pear shaped CZ that I use for holidays. No sentimental value and not a devastating loss if they get wrecked or lost.

I’ve got size J fingers. I’ll have a happy night googling

You could try QVC diamonique collection.

It tends towards the "too big to be true" but has some more believable ones too. I have a real tanzanite and diamond ring which was bought for me. I didn't like to take it on holiday, so I bought a sub from here, actual a little smaller than the real thing.

if you want a little more, maybe try a lab grown diamond, though they are more expensive.

For a travel ring that's fine, but for a ring you wear day to day you probably do want white gold otherwise it'll wear against the wedding ring. It's not really a travel ring you're looking for, it's almost the opposite. I've put some suggestions below, but I have blown the budget a little. Nothing dramatic though.
