Can you help me find a replacement for favourite jumper? Figure-hugging rust turtleneck that went with EVERYTHING!!!

I adore/adored it... photo attached, you can see the wee holes...

It is just Uniqlo and a great colour and fit - looked amazing with my treasured sale-bought Me & Em trousers and just about everything else...

Where can I find something similar?? Happy to pay more than Uniqlo prices, just keen to find same colour and a close fit.

I had a jumper like that as a teenager that I adored to pieces not that it would fit any more anyway so I'm hoping someone comes up with something!

I have this exact jumper and agree it is so useful. Really disappointed that there isn’t a lambswool version in Uniqlo this year. Closest I could find was this in SeaSalt

Do you mind what the yarn is @loveyouradvice or does it not matter as long as the colour and shape is right? On the face of it there seems to be quite a lot of choice unless you’re going to follow up saying it must be woven from the specially selected wool from the underbelly of a rare breed (not that that’s likely if the much-loved jumper was from Uniqlo!).

The Uniqlo one is 100% lambwool but this seems to be becoming harder to find each year. Would you consider an invisible or even a visible repair? There are people on IG that show you how to do it. I’ve mended cashmere jumpers reasonably successfully in the past.

Uniqlo are still doing similar jumpers this year. The wine colour and the orange are the closest in tone.

Yarn is not a problem @YouOKHun - your post did crease me up - but yes, the exact colour and the fit are.... Rather like how figure-hugging the bellora one is @Jugendstiel - should suit me and Im going to give it a go!!

And how extraordinary @Shmoigel - you've found the exact one, just one size bigger. I've ordered it and if it ends up a bit big that's fine.

@SarahMused I am going to repair my existing one, but sadly even though Im pretty darn good at invisible mending I know it will show, but will be fine for wearing under a khaki wool dress that I love combining it with.

Yes, truly was my most worn jumper last year!!

If you put it in the freezer for 2 weeks to kill the clothes moths, then it would be very possible to invisibly mend those holes. Maybe a local seamstress might be able to do it if they do mending?

Thanks @Geneticsbunny I agree - there are rather more than you can see but I'm giong to do it ... paying someone to do so would cost more than the new jumper given its £30!!! I did once pay to have a favourite jacket done and it was £10 a hole a while ago...

Stick it in the freezer first and get moth stuff or it will get chomped even more.
