Jumpers over a dress

My classroom is on the cold side. I usually wear a dress and a blazer (we are supposed to wear blazers). I’m already wearing a vest! I don’t have smart trousers and not looking at getting any.

But as I am getting fed up with being cold I’m looking for some jumpers to wear instead of the blazer. However I find wool really itchy which makes it harder.

I know I could get thermals but at 48 it is nice yo be able to remove layers quickly, if I need to.

I feel the cold. I often wear jerseys or cardis over a dress. Cardis are handy as you can take them off if it gets a bit warm. If you're already wearing a vest consider a long sleeved version. Do your dresses have sleeves?

Also a teacher but with the opposite problem! Another vote for smart cardigan to layer and it can then come off it it gets too hot. I love the scamp and dude cardigans!

What about a sleeveless cardi or waistcoat. Can be short or long.

Uniqlo do these very thin padded gilets and you can adjust the neckline to wear without being seen under different jackets. They might help?
