Am I being dim? How do i find this M&S leopard velvet jacket??

BUT more importantly, in the pictures for the skirt they feature a very beautiful matching blazer which is chef's kiss

I think my mini-skirt wearing days are probably behind me (like my substantial behind), but I would 100% live in that jacket. IF I COULD FIND IT.

I have scoured the website upside down. It is nowhere. Am I being dense? Does it even exist? Did it ever?

Got one! On the Irish site - they only had two left in my size so I bagged one quickly. I don't exactly need it, but I do love it.

Ooh I love this- will liven up any black dress- only problem is I showed it to H who declared it ‘a bit Bet lynch - which shows our age!

I got a similar velvet jacket from them a few months ago in turquoise so similar to wear without the Bet Lynch vibe. Perhaps see if you can get it on Vinted?

Or maybe this is the start of a range with a new colour every season? Give it a few years and we could all have a few so we can rotate them and buy and sell to mix it up?

I’ve tried this on - the sizes are massive so you may need to order a size down. I’m normally an 8 but the 6 was too big (and too leopardy for me).

As I understand it Rod Steward was/is a bit of a sex symbol, it could have been worse😂

I was slightly worried a 16 might be too small (i'm a bit borderline these days) so that is a reassuring thing to hear! If it's a bit roomy i the bosom area I might even be able to button it up!!! :)

@Haemagoblin the 14 I tried was pretty spot on size wise. Good luck with getting one though, they are very lovely!

Do they cover the bum? Im 5-4 5-5, with longer legs than body but my bottom is my least favourite part.
I do t mind if it comes up big because I have a jumper to wear under it.
Im never sure how tall the models are.

Mine just arrived - it's so nice! Yes it covers bum. Mine isn't that roomy actually- I'd say it's a standard size 12 but a fairly fitted style.

Mine has arrived. I am undecided, it is really beautiful fabric and a good print - looks expensive. Sizing is big and I think it needs another button as it buttons quite low on the body for me. This may just be a height issue, I am 5'4. I don't own any other leopard print clothing and there is definitely a hint of Rod Stewart about it! It is quite long length too. I plan to wear with knitwear and jeans/black trousers I think. Really not sure if its for me though!!

In a moment of madness I've just gone back and bought the matching skirt. It's very short and might have to go back, but I just thought - why not?!

This is a nice thread! I want to like leopard print I really do …but I’m of the Rod Stewart/Bet Lynch era and just cant shake that image whenever I try anything on!

I bet it would look fab with thick tights and chunky boots, ankle or mid calf biker style

My order has just been cancelled - I placed it a week ago. Took them a week of having my money to realise it was actually oos. Bloody M&S website.

I didn't take a photo because I came back from worked wrecked.
Also rather annoyed. M and S leopard jacket was quite small...Im a 12. Its ok because Im half a stone to goal and it will be perfect then. Its ok now but will be better a bit looser.
The Baukjen sleeveless jumper I also ordered is too big and will be massive when Ive lost 7 pounds so that has to go back for a size 10 which is a right pain.
Why aren't clothing sizes standardised? You just don't know what you are getting and half of it has to go back!!

Well, my jacket arrived today and it's perfect, I love it. Very glad I managed to get one. I'm expecting the skirt next week, and also expecting it to be too much with the jacket, but we'll see.

I have it!! It is perfect. Rather softer than I expected if you know what I mean (I like a bit of stiffness in the fabric) but fits like a dream and looks sooooo nice.

Now to deal with the fact I have nothing to wear it with or to 😂 but I am delighted with it!
