The holy grail of hold ups… recommendations?

They need to stay up, have a nice wide band, not pinch my generous (but muscled) thighs, and not cost the bloody earth. If available online, even better. If available in lace or fishnet, extra bonus points!

Any tried and trusted brands? M and S large are too big and medium too small, H and M are ok, tried some from Amazon which just don’t have any stick on the thigh band and am beginning to despair!

M&S Autograph do the job for me.

Try John Lewis - Charnos or Wolford.

I used to rate the Boots ones but it was probably 7-8 years ago that I last bought any. They had a really nice wide lace band that sat very smooth and didn’t cut in.

Hopeful bump in case there are any more recommendations...

I bought 2 different pairs this summer from Amazon, after reading lots of reviews. Have only worn one pair but they were excellent. I’ll look the orders up later and let you know.

Sorry for the delay but it’s these from Amazon - Sunshine Lady. I got the nude ones.
They were a good colour and held up really well. Some of the reviews said they fall down, but there are reviews that say that for any brand of holdups. The trick is to pull them up high, then make sure both silicone bands are in contact with your skin all the way round.
