Hi has anyone seen any nice maxi dresses that have proper straps? I tried on two today, nice fit except round the boobs ( I am 36C and need a bit of support)
Some kind of silky material would be nice, though have an open mind.
Thanks

Was just in Zara, they have some beauties.

MrsBadger · 06/06/2008 15:22

I never said they were all nice..

or get a decent strapless bra

I'd also like a boob friendly one (34E) - tried on 3 in fenwicks today, all nice and well priced (£25-40) and the sort of thing I could imagine wearing to float around on holiday and maybe even collect dcs from school on a particularly nice day...lovely everywhere except totally failed to even cover bust. I'd love something fun and a bit floaty....but at the sub-£60 mark preferably. Any offers? [optimistic emoticon]

MamaG · 06/06/2008 15:51

a lot of htem were lovely though Mrs B

fillybuster · 06/06/2008 15:51

Lovely...but far too expensive to swan around the pool in ...any more offers?

cornsilk · 06/06/2008 15:52

bravissimo had some nice dresses in their catalogue. Don't know what a maxi dress is!

MrsBadger · 06/06/2008 15:59

ah we are pool-swanning, are we?
[rethinks strategy]

Kew have a couple. What about this or this

RosaLuxembourg · 06/06/2008 16:03

Sorry, I meant this

cornsilk · 06/06/2008 16:08

wow - that dress is lovely!

bluejelly · 06/06/2008 17:47

Thanks ladies. It's for a summer wedding which will be v chic and full of skinny tanned women ( which I won't be)
So I thought a maxi dress might be in order
