Any recommendations for thickening up around the temples and hair line please?
there’s so much advertised right now and so hard to know if the reviews are real.

Topikk (or similar) hair fibres are very good. They really fill in sparse areas. You can get similar on ebay.

Ooh I was thinking more shampoo or supplement to encourage growth, but thank you for this suggestion x

It's a cosmetic fix, so doesn't fix the underlying problem of thin hair, but certainly can improve confidence in the meantime.

Do you know if there's a reason for the thinner hair around temples and hair line? My hair has shed a few times for various reasons, including low iron,

I see Lorna Luxe really raves about Champo as she has been struggling with alopecia and it seems to have really helped her hair growth

I think it’s age related, peri meno.
I have seen those champs add everywhere, the algorithm has got me!

I’ve been taking biotin and iron for a couple of months and my temple hairs have really started to grow - usually they never get past one inch wisps but I now have 4 inches of quite thick hair there. Still not the lovely smooth hairline I’d like but better. I have hypothyroid, borderline low iron and PCOS and my hair falls out very easily.

I have had quite significant hair loss recently - front & crown. I think mine may have been pattern hair loss (cheers dad) but I'm also showing signs of peri.

A year of iron tablets, biotin and minoxidil mousse (I use regaine) has finally got me to a place where I can wear my hair down again, but you have to be rigid with the routine!

Oh edit to add: and I've recently added Elvive growth booster shampoo & conditioner to the mix, and I use elvive bond repair, leave in anti-breakage serum stuff, which coincided with the biggest improvement.

Champo hasn't done anything for me, except sting my eyes! Waterman Grow Me actually worked for me.

Pruneaux · 03/11/2025 00:04

Topical minoxidil has made a difference to me

Just about to start Hair + Me after the algorithm got me too. Not tried it yet but here's my referral code for 3 months for 12.99 REBECCAAHJQ

ThatPinkShark · 03/11/2025 08:25

I have such troubles, too.

MontysMum909 · 03/11/2025 10:44

I haven’t tried yet but there seems to be lots of discussion around pumpkin seed oil supplements. I would use in addition to minoxidil.
