How did her lipstick stay in place.

I'm on holiday and in a small restaurant.
I think the lady is French.
She has just eaten a full meal. And has drunk a couple of glasses of wine.
Her lipstick has not moved and she hasn't redone her lips.
Can't ask as I don't think she speaks English.
What does she do to make it last.

You can achieve this with just lip liner and lipstick. Start with lip liner cover your full lips and then blot with tissue, apply lipstick and blot with tissue (heavy blot not just dabbing your lips), repeat 3 or 4 times until you get the coverage you want and then get on with your day and your perfect lipstick.

Word of warning if you do want to freshen it up at any point then you will need to blot again.

I recently bought some of this (different colour - there are lots) because I didn't have my usual MAC one with me.

I am a convert - it stays on forever, I can eat and drink whatever (the MAC one is good with drinks and dry food but anything with fat in it takes it off) and it doesn't budge and I still have perfect bright red lips. One coat lasts ages, two coats lasts basically forever!

I've used this for years. It genuinely has to be taken off as it will not budge. Easily lasts 24 hours. Extraordinary stuff.

Another vote for Maybelline Superstay. It just doesn’t move. Lipcote is also pretty good but will come off with oily food.
