Tinted moisturiser or similar with spf that is quite mattifying

I'm maybe asking for too much here but we are off on holiday soon and I would love to find a tinted moisturiser or BB or CC cream that also has spf but that is more mattifying than dewy!

Any recommendations would be great please!

You may try with la roche posay. So I will drop my routine with this: Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
la roche posay spf
Evening:
la roche posay moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

Depending on your skin tone, Paula’s Choice Resist tinted SPF. It’s great for pale skins but there are loads of options for other skin tones, such as the one above. Definitely get a tinted SPF rather than tint with SPF so you are protected. Or both!

Another vote for Erborian cc cream. It’s awesome stuff, bloody love it.

On the cheaper end of the spectrum, my go to is Garnier BB cream for oily skin, SPF 25 (I think) - I absolutely love it and have used it for many years! Under £10 - www.amazon.co.uk/Garnier-Perfecting-Moisturiser-Complexion-Hyaluronic/dp/B09BWGNQ2J

I tried a couple of the it your skin but better as recommended on here - but didn't like them...too thick.

I really like Garnier Vitamin C daily UV glow 50+ https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CNQ11ZYH?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

and I also love Synergy 6 NX-Gen which is a tinted moisturiser but does't advertise itself as such. It's very subtle https://circaskin.com/product/synergy-6-nx-gen-spf-100ml/

Laura Mercier do a matte TM with SPF. I use it, it suits my combination skin.

ThatGreenFawn · 28/10/2025 16:59

Moogoo tinted sunscreen. Its zinc based factor 40. I use it daily instead of foundation/Bb cream.

Letthemeatgateau · 28/10/2025 17:07

I definitely wouldn't say Erborian CC is matt - it's described as luminous and that's how it looks on. The BB cream is the one described as velvety ie matt.

Is this legit? I stopped using amazon for skincare after seeing so may reports of fakes over reddit

Its normally under £10 and is often half price in Superdrug (though more recently seems to be £7.50) so for £7.50 on Amazon I wouldn't be suspicious. I normally buy in Superdrug because of it being cheaper but the couple of times when I've bought from Amazon it's been exactly the same, down to the smell, so personally I've never had issues!
