Wide linen trouser casual outfits - need top ideas!

This summer I bought several lovely wide linen trousers. My shape is probably more apple, so 5ft 6, good legs and bust but weight on my belly. Im struggling for ideas for tops. My go to is straight cut jeans and a nice top, trainers, big coat. But how can I make my wide linen work? What kind of tops would you wear? I looked at cardigans but then that suddenly makes the whole look very grannified. How can I make this stylish? I quite like Sienna Miller s style or Anna Cascarina?

I wear mine with fine knit cardigans, so tight fitting and I leave some buttons open at the bottom. Also wear with a cropped tshirt or fine knitted jumpers with a v neck.

@Dollyparot200 do you mind posting a link? I tend to go baggy with cardigans. Plus my trousers are navy with stripes or white with stripes

I also think navy or white with stripes are a neutral so I would pick a top colour that suits me

@Dollyparot200 i do look much better in this, it’s given me some confidence which id lost. Still feeling like a tired mum but starting to look in the mirror and make changes.
