Crossbody bag for travel

Can anyone recommend a large-ish cross body bag? We are going to Asia next summer, a mix of cities and beaches, and I need a bag that will be big enough for my camera, water bottle, suncream and bits and pieces. Ideally something I can also use in the evenings for going to fairly nice restaurants. Budget is £30ish but ideally less.

Baggu medium crescent bag is bigger than the Uniqlo one and can fit all of this in easily. Plain colour ways look smarter. If you can get it on sale or on vinted you will get it for £30

Bagwise. Amazon £25. Roomy bag. Good zips. Comfortable and adjustable straps

I got this for my holidays. Lots of pockets & a water bottle pocket!

I find shoulder bags work well as cross-body bags. Choose one in a lightweight material and with a wide strap (more comfortable).

Take a look at the Pacsafe range. Fairly expensive, but high quality and lots of security features.

Yes my other half bought this in khaki. Perfect for travel and expands quite well too 😃

Thank you for all of the recommendations! I will have a proper look at them all later. I’d already got the Uniqlo one on my list so it’s good to know it’s recommended!

Pacsafe are expensive but good (if little riigid). I've done most of my travellingthis year ?3 months in Central Asia and Japan) with a Roku bag. They're more than your budget new but always on Vinted/Ebay. The other brand i rate for bags is Mia Tui.

Don't be seduced by beautiful fabric bags.asia is sweaty, occasionally wet and you need something showerprpof to stand up to the rigour

@Skimama123 Cross body bags are safer. However if you want to carry a load of heavy “stuff” then you need quite a big bag! I hate getting a wet back with a ruck sack so I’m definitely a cross body convert. Anything with a wide strap for comfort and a nylon type fabric works well enough. Judge size on what you want to carry - what about a rain poncho as well?

I bought this - really pleased with it - big enough for an umbrella and water bottle.

So I popped in TKmaxx last week and found exactly what I was looking for, a bigger version of the Uniqlo round bag, for £8. I also left with a new Kate spade bag as well thanks to my daughter but that’s another story! 😂
