Okay so I was on here last week asking which dress to wear with my news shoes blah blah blah, thanks for being patient with me. So I am wearing this dress and these shoes

the questions is - what do I do with my hair? it is long, dark brown, bit of a natural wave. Do I go for an up-do (which I fear will make my whole look too structured and not very me) or do I blow dry it sraight OR do I enhance the natural wave and wear it loose, a la SJP on the SATC movie poster?

Or any other ideas?

thanks for your help - sorry to be a blathering mess

harpsichordcarrier · 05/06/2008 18:02

do you have one?

Stargazing · 05/06/2008 18:03

a wrap? no. what do you reckon?

OP posts:
maidamess · 05/06/2008 18:07

I think hair loose and wavy, but glossy. A wrap would work, and you can shuck it off if it gets too hot.

harpsichordcarrier · 05/06/2008 18:07

headband
I was thinking diaphanous silver....
but I can't find anything at the mo
there is a lovely one in Debenhams (JOhn Rocha)but in GOLD no darned good to us

maidamess · 05/06/2008 18:08

I'm not sure about a fascinator...kind of been done to death. I think simple fab hair.

harpsichordcarrier · 05/06/2008 18:08

possible?
I think with wraps you need to look at them in the flesh tbh because they can look cheap sometimes
can you get to shops or not?

harpsichordcarrier · 05/06/2008 18:17

yes maidamess may well be right
I can't really find anything satisfactory on line
there seems to be a nice selecetion at house of fraser

here

woodenchair · 05/06/2008 18:33

what shops do you have near?
John Lewis have wraps, or if you have a sari shop/market stall they do some lovely ones
(I got all my bridesmaid dress material and bridal accessories from a sari fabric stall)
