I’m a size 16 and quite short - I’m thinking jeans and a white shirt with adidas. But then I usually wear a blazer over it but then what coat can I wear as the only coat that fits over the blazer is my puffa which obvs not very sexy 🤣or jeans and a silk shirt? Or too dressy?? I could wear a 3/4 length black corduroy jacket/coat with that

It’s most important to feel comfortable and attractive, pick your favourite and maybe the coat doesn’t matter as you’ll take it off?

I love wearing silk shirts, and with jeans and trainers, French tucked or untucked I think they look casual enough for the pub but nicer than an everyday cotton shirt. Personally the blazer would make me feel more dressed-up than the shirt! Your cord coat sounds lovely with the jeans and silk shirt, and casual shoes/trainers.

Have a great time!

Where is the date? Coffee shop I would go jeans, t-shirt and blazer (carry the coat)

Bar I would go with the jeans and silk shirt

I would wear a leather boot with the silk shirt and jeans ifs a more dressy evening.

it’s hard to know to be honest but it out being able to picture the venue. It’s easier to be very casual in summer.

for me the trainers and t-shirt look is very day time in winter, and I might feel a bit self conscious being that casual in some venues in the evening. But it really depends on the venue and what your usual style is. Above all make sure your feel confident and comfortable.
