I have zero nice casual dresses for this time of year after a ruthless wardrobe purge. 😢

I can't seem to find any I like! High street prices rather than designer prices.

I thought I'd start a thread to share any I find, and if others could add any they see too I'd really appreciate it!

I'm a size 18-20 and I'm on a weight loss journey which is why I don't want to spend tonnes but also probably doesn't help as I'm not happy with how I look still but that's a work in progress and it would be nice to have a few nice dresses in the meantime to give me a boost!

Oh I've also been recently analyzed as a lightsummer wardrobe colour palette which isn't helping as a lot of the offerings at the moment are lovely autumnal colours.

Any colours can be shared on this thread though, as I'd like it to widely helpful rather than only helpful to my specific list of criteria!

Depends on how budget you mean by budget - I bought this recently when there was a 20% off sale, and they sometimes do discount codes for new customers - am a busty size 20. I love it, and have been wearing a thermal vest or long sleeved top under it, and tights and boots. Am 5ft 6 and it is a good length on me - almost maxi (not mid calf). Is a thicker heavier cotton so it surprisingly warm. And not clingy around the tum

Have you tried Sosandar? It does quite a few casual winter dresses like https://www.sosandar.com/natural-roll-neck-cable-knit-midi-dress. I have a few and they are warm (I still wear a thermal top underneath but I'm always cold!) and comfortable. I wear them with knee high boots.
