What colour accessories with this dress

I have this silver dress that I have only worn once because I got too fat for it. I've lost weight and am keen to give it another go over Christmas. Last time round I wore it with blockheeled black velvet ankle boots but I would like to try something different this time - maybe a bright colour? I was thinking perhaps t-bar shoes with a low block heel which is the most I can manage in the way of a heel. Has anyone seen anything they think would work. I love the look of the Esska Celeste but ideally I need something much cheaper!
All suggestions for colour or style welcome - links would be great as I can't see anything I like online.

Thanknyou both! I never thought of dark green but I like it. I was thinking closed shoes as I would like to wear tights. I absolutely love the fuchsia too though! Two great colour combos I wouldn't have thought of! Would silver shoes be too matchy? I have silver mary janes but they are completely flat - would that look odd?
