NMN reversing grey hair

I've been dying my hair since the age of 17 to hide grey hairs and parts of my head are fully white now (in my early 40s). I'm never going to age gracefully and go grey, but im sick of dying my hair platinum blonde to hide the white roots.

So having been sucked in by the viva nmn marketing, I decided to give it a go. And I think it's actually working! I've been checking my parting and to my disbelief I have a load of black hairs sprouting through!

Has anyone else reversed their grey/white hair with NMN?

never heard of it

It's hard to get a clear pic, but I see them!

An iron infusion seemed to work on mine. Not that I had many to start with..

curious79 · 16/10/2025 00:26

Yes!! I’ve been using this product for about four months and I have a lot of dark hairs coming through, to a point of probably needing to change back to a less blonde blonde dye to fit with the grey

Kisskiss · 16/10/2025 00:36

How many do u take a day? I don’t think it’s doing anything for me :(

lambdressedasspam · 16/10/2025 01:12

Is it the same colour as your original hair and has cuticle ?

WilloesWorld · 16/10/2025 02:05

Ooh I haven't heard of this before. Did you have your iron levels tested before, and was it just 1 infusion?

That's amazing! Have you found your existing hairs changing colour or just the new ones growing through?

How long have you been taking them and what else have you been doing over the last few months in terms of health and fitness?

Around 3 months. I haven't made any other changes except for joining a pilates class and have always tried to eat quite healthily.

I think 3 months. I’m taking 2! Ugh

Ah ok, around the same time as me then. My existing greys haven't changed but the new ones growing through all seem to be dark. Can imagine it'll take a few months to see a big change.

It’s not possible for existing hairs to change colour. Except if you dye them of course.

TorroFerney · 16/10/2025 10:08

I take it, I fe better / more energised I think but has made no difference to my grey hair.

Yeah I definitely have more energy, and weirdly some of my peri symptoms like itchy skin and night sweats have disappeared

I know this is "true", but i honestly have some hair that "switches" back to v dark brown after periods of growing white. My consultant dermatologist friend didn't believe me either until he pulled one out and examined it!

LouScot · 16/10/2025 11:57

@Shhhhitsmagic can you share your supplement and dose?

Ontheedgeofit · 16/10/2025 12:08

Can you get it in the UK? I am from South Africa and ran out whilst on holiday last year and it was definitely not available.

I have been taking it for over 4 years and I dont have any grey hairs but never did before so I may just be lucky in that department.

Same here. Been on it for 2 months, no difference to grey hair. Think my energy levels are boosted a bit and definitely less sore and stiff the day after lifting weights in the gym. Also tolerating alcohol better, though still in pretty small amounts!
