Are these still fashionable? I have a pair they’re only ripped at the knee, are people still wearing these?

I wear mine. I don’t give a shit what’s fashionable. Jeans are jeans to my mind only the extreme styles go out of fashion.

Unwise at this time of the year, though I’ve discovered - over many decades - that if you persist in wearing what you like, eventually it will become fashionable again.

Arrivederla · 16/10/2025 07:42

No. But if you like them wear them

Thingyfanding1 · 16/10/2025 07:44

They’re definitely not fashionable. If you want to look fashionable, skinny jeans with rips are a definite hard no. However, as a pp has mentioned, give it a few years and they will be again.
a classic straight leg, a barrel leg, a wide leg, a kick flare (bootleg) are options to look at if you want to look ‘fashionable’. Ultimately it doesn’t matter - If you feel good in them, wear them.

I've just brought the marks and spencer boyfriend jeans, but the only colour left in store in my size are the light blue which I like, but they have a rip in the knee, all the other colours don't have the rip, the fit is so good I think I will keep them.
