I have just seen this in Naples, in a very swanky boutique. It costs £1200 and is very far out of my price range. I am a size 10/12 depending but love this as it would cover ageing arms. Any colour (but would prefer not black). I don’t even have an occasion to wear it to, as yet. But such a dress…..

Keep an eye on Karen Millen, they’ve been doing very good coat dresses for 30 years. The quality isn’t as high as it was before they were sold to boohoo but still very nice. If you’re happy with 2nd hand, head over to Vinted, their coat dresses from late 90s / early 2000s were absolutely beautiful.

Phase eight & Hobbs can do a very good coat dress, Reiss, & try other mother of the bride type places, pricey if you’re buying silk but not £1200!
