Do you still follow 'fashion rules'?

I remember as a teenager my mum giving me dire warnings about how blue and green should never be seen, don't mix patterns etc...

Now it all seems to be mix and match and I wondered - are the old fashion rules out to make way for new??

I was wearing a teal greeny vest top thing with bluey purple cardi today and I thought of that rule because my mum taught me it too! I love putting different colours together, I like fuschia pink with teal too.

Bumping to see what evening crowd thinks...

No fashion rules...apart from things like don't wear a black bra with a white top.

No VPL. Don't let your pop sock tops be seen.

But those are rules for life, not just for fashion.
