What to wear over oversized t-shirt

If you're wearing oversized/long style t-shirt, what would you wear over it to keep you warm?

It's for my child, 12

Do you wear a jumper even though the jumper is shorter than the t-shirt?

Or should you wear a cardi?
What type of cardi?

I'm a cold person (who loves an oversized tee!) So id layer like a mofo!😁
Long sleeved top or bodysuit, then tee, then plaid or denim shirt then chunky long cardie.
Although you can tuck or pin them up so you can wear shorter layers on top easier.

personally I wear suitable clothes to keep warm, that does not include a T shirt outside the summer period

For the 12 year old - long length hoodie
For me - big sloppy cardigan

Oversized jumper or longline hoodie. Also layers - vest top and long sleeved top under t shirt if I'm going to be outdoors a lot, plus scarf and hat.
