SO happy with this jeans purchase! Want to share the joy!

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share as I assume I'm not the only one who finds jeans shopping generally hellish and demoralising 😅I had a c section 18 months ago, and have been massively struggling ever since (weight gain, overhang etc) and even the feeling of a waistband on my stomach makes me cringe. I'd been avoiding jeans for months but decided to take the plunge because they are useful in autumn/winter, so I treated myself to a pair of the mom jeans by Ambela and they are SO GOOD. They feel like leggings but look like actual jeans! Also, I was able to order my usual size 14 and they fit like a glove!

They're not cheap so I was worried I'd regret the purchase but honestly if you've been umming and ahhing about them I would say give them a try.

Bit of a ramble I know sorry, but I always see posts about jeans on here so it seemed worth sharing 😊

Bit of a strange website, I can’t find the company name and address. I’m glad you’re happy but I wouldn’t touch them, sorry. Also if you’re normally a 14 but have put on loads of weight and they still fit you the sizing sounds questionable.

imnottoofussed · 14/10/2025 15:01

It’s a genuine company. The girl who set it up is on instagram she’s called carys Whittaker

Ive not tried the jeans but she does seem to sell out quite often going off the instagram stories

noramoo · 14/10/2025 15:20

To clarify - I am now a size 14 and they fit true to size. I was a size 12 pre pregnancy. I am usually sceptical of "social media brands" but this was a pleasant surprise!

Curious as to whether you are posting as stealth marketing? I actually follow Carys on insta so am aware of her brand but something about the OP’s post doesn’t ring true.
But happy for you if the jeans are good.

secureyourbook · 14/10/2025 15:45

The website boasts of having a style to fit everyone…but only has three products on it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry, I did worry it would come off like that! Genuinely just wanted to share after so many crappy jeans purchases recently! Apologies if this wasn't the right place to do this though

The company name and address is a the top of their T & Cs page

I see they charge a delivery, and to return there is a charge, that's put me off, as jeans are one of the hardest to get right.

noramoo · 14/10/2025 18:53

Yeah admittedly the postage/paid returns makes it a bit of a gamble Confused if anyone knows of a high street alternative I'd be keen to hear! I have a recent pair from Tui that fit nicely but I do still find they can dig a bit at the waist when sat down!

Yup thought the same. I like Carys (but hate the 'ambela' name). Jeans look good. Shouldn't need the stealth marketing.

That post reads like such an AI marketing stream shitpost.

No it doesn't!

noramoo · 14/10/2025 20:13

Arghhh well I guess this is the last time I try to recommend anything, glad to hear I sound like AI 🤣 I was literally just trying to sound enthusiastic!!

I follow carys on insta (she looks amazing in almost all outfits) but think these jeans look like absolute crap on her and the models.

Im sure they are comfy but I can get levis for £30 in costco and stretch denim in Asda for £12... so 🤷🏻‍♀️
