Non Nora Batty tights

I’ve tried Primark’s 120 denier and they’re usually grand but I ended up with them bunched around my ankles and the crotch between my knees.

I don’t want to spend €€€ on tights unless they’re recommended.

Snag tights! I’ve got over 50 pairs!

Thanks to this post I too have ordered some snag tights. I am off to Paris next month for a week .... and I have a load of lovely jumper dresses to wear and was worried about the tights issue!!

My address on the order had been prepopulated with my old address (moved house in April) and I went into full blown panic mode, but I have to say, their customer service was great. Sent them a messenger post and they replied within 20 mins having updated it. Phew.

Better Tights are far superior to Snag.

Snag tights, expensive to buy but last forever.

I tried Better Tights (also not keen on the Snag porn-style branding), and they have the assumption that larger size = longer legs. If you look at the sizing chart, taller slimmer women are supposed to wear the same size as shorter larger women. A size 22 5'3" is not the same shape as a 6' size 16.
So on me, there was about 8" extra leg hanging of the bottom of my feet, and the top could be pulled up to my bra band.

That's the problem I had with Better Tights. They are so fucking long. Plus they laddered the second time I wore them.

I did put a hole in my snags this am, but they are at least 7 years old so have lasted well.

Wolford or Falke, expensive for tights but work out cheaper in the long run as they last for years.

Falke 100 denier are even better than Snag - last longer, thicker, and in just as many sizes. Look in TK Maxx if you feel lucky, or set up a search on Ebay, mine have lasted at least 10 years.

I might be wearing wrong size? Not sure as on the back on the tights it says Medium but they come up to waist...

Ok ladies I am back with an update.

I ordered two pairs - builders tea and black size E. They are a revelation and I want to give my eternal gratitude to you all. They actually come up to my bra and they stay up. No Nora Batty ankles.

Snag, they stay put. Very comfy too

I have a pair of black opaques from Snag that I bought in 2018! The toes are a bit holey but the rest of the tights are fine.

I would say I think the quality isn't as good now as it used to be. I now buy a few pairs every year instead of every few years. But I reckon I get a huge amount of wear out of them for the price. And they never, ever fall down.
