What winter shoes with this dress?

I know it's not to everyone's taste but I love it and it's very flattering. It comes down to a couple of inches below my knees.

I don't know what shoes so I can wear with it in winter. Any suggestions? Not ankle boots because ankle boots and dresses look awful on me. Preferably low or flat as I walk a lot.

I'm thinking the same colour shoes and tights? Maybe teal?

I was wondering about knee high boots but I wasn't sure if they would be a bit clunky. I'll have a look to see what I can find.

I would probably go for the simple option and just wear black shoes with plain tights that picked out one colour from the dress. I love colour, and it’s tempting to look for shoes in one of the colours, with tights in another of the colours, but too much can be overkill.

I find dresses that length don’t really suit long boots. There’s inevitably a knee gap. So stylish brown suede ankle boots or loafers. No to teal tights!

Brown, or even better burgundy/oxblood knee high boots.

Chunky brown loafers or brogues could work, with burgundy tights. I would stay away from brown tights or anything bright.

I have a pair of flat calf length brown leather winter boots that I think I would wear with that. And also some tan heeled ones.
