[Expert Picks] Best Makeup Mirror with Lights & Magnification

Hey guys, so I have been looking for the best makeup mirror for the past few days because my old one broke, I have read a bunch of reviews on the new york times, wirecutter, and some beauty blogs, and most of them are recommending these two:

the thing is, i can’t really decide which one fits my needs better. i usually do my makeup in a room that doesn’t get a lot of natural light, so lighting is super important. i also travel sometimes, so portability kinda matters too.

anyone here using one of these or got a better suggestion? which one gives the best lighting and clarity for makeup? would love to hear ur thoughts before i buy one. thanks in advance

Portable wise you might be better off going with a folding one or the Tweezerman one. Not sure about the two you have I’m not a fan of the long stem on them.

I have the Simplehuman x 10 mirror, not for make up, for putting in/getting out contact lenses. It's very good, well made and comes with a nice case.

I found it on offer at Boots, it was much less than the RRP at the time of purchase.

Another vote for Simplehuman - absolutely life-changing for getting ready on dark mornings. I've got the 5x one with a 10x that magnets on for really close-up stuff - I find 10x too much for general make-up etc. Unfortunately it's not very portable or cheap but 100% recommended.
