Has anyone found a good way to do nail extensions at home?

Sick of paying €50 each time. Are those kits from amazon any good or has anyone found any products that work well?

A lot of people rate the stick on nails highly. They come in different lengths so you can get some that look like extensions

Thanks @Elektra1. I'll look at those. Like nail wraps? I thought they only stuck on your existing nails.

I have done my own UV gel nails for years. Easy but does not do my nails much good! I have just swapped over to gel wraps from sassysaints who seemed to have the best reviews. it is really easy to do, and my first attempt (I manage to chip even the UV gel nails) has lasted 12 days. I succumbed to a small corner peeling off one nail and could not stop myself from pulling it. Took 20 seconds to pop a new one back on! I am converted. They look like proper gel nails, and come in so many colours (they are slightly stretchy so fit well).

Thanks @m00rfarm. Do they fit existing nails only or can you get longer nails with them?

I just put them on my normal nails. I’m trying to get their strength back so don’t want stick fake nails on them. The sassyssint gel wraps are cheap enough to try in case they work. That’s what I did.

Gel X type. Soft gel full cover tips with UV glue.

I have been doing my own nails for 8 years, have done them all and have settled on gel x.

Personally I’d avoid anything using uv. I had amazing nails and they’re rubbish now.

I used a kit during Covid but it ruined my nails for a while. Be careful doing gels without training but the wraps look good

I have a drawer full of plastic stick on nails, all different colours and shapes to match my outfits, mainly from primark or amazon.
