Help - hair wash the night before hi lites

I have a hi lites appointment for tomorrow morning. I washed my hair on Saturday evening and my hair looked good and it looked good Sunday too.

As today progressed I noticed there is some grease or oil coming into my roots now.

I don't know if I should wash my hair tonight after work or if I should leave it alone. I have a hair appointment in the morning.

I’d leave it. My hairdresser is always happy for me to walk in as a greaseball and I’m a full head of blonde high lights every 6 weeks kinda girl. She also doesn’t mind when I’m in a washing it every single day kind of mood- she’ll do either either.

So on that basis, if the only reason you’d wash it is for your hairdresser, I wouldn’t bother!

not sure if its true but someone once told me that hair being slightly greasy will protect it a bit during bleaching.

I apologised for this to my hairdresser once, and she just said she never sees the point of people washing it when they’re going to have it washed by her anyway!
