Uniqlo shopping this morning

I have 45 minutes and half a ryanair under the seat bag to fill this morning. I'm a mid 50s size 14 pear and need nice casual clothes for work. Any suggestions? I don't need/ can't fit coats.

I've just got a few of their tshirts via Vinted and the quality is really nice, lovely thick cotton and a nice relaxed fit.

I'd like some trousers too maybe, and something to wear with them. The models on their website are all skinnymalink 20 somethings and I wouldn't want to embarrass my children by looking like mutton dressed as lamb!

I bought some of their (short version) barrel leg cords and they are lovely. I need some cold weather to wear them now! (I am 5’5, 65 and a size L at Uniqlo, a size 14-16 in real life)

Ooh I am the proud owner of 4 pairs of their jersey barrel leg trousers - also a pear. They do cord too if that’s your thing.

Yes I bought some of their barrel leg jeans, the cords are cut from the same pattern and very cute.

Their smart trpusers are good. I would try xl. They are about £35. Also rayon shirts are useful and merino crew necks.

I’m so glad to read this, I’m awaiting delivery of the jersey barrel leg trousers too. I love BackoftheWardrobe’s content, she’s one of few people I follow as she’s a similar size shape and age to me (only manages to be 100 times better dressed at all times!)

Anything by C range - I’ve never taken her stuff off.

Just back now. Got a long sleeved t shirt and two pairs of pull on trousers in different colours. Was a bit overwhelmed by it but didn't want to panic buy. Happy with my couple of purchases. Thanks all.
