I’m on HRT. My hair loss at the front is getting worse, I can really see my scalp at times, and my fringe area feels less bulky. Any suggestions that you’ve found actually work?

Thanks @HundredMilesAnHour snd @catera I was asking about iron because my hair loss is horrible and I had understood from this thread that iron deficiency could be an issue . Just clutching at straws to find something that I may be able to take to help :(
pleased that iron levels are good but at the same time a bit disappointed as it might have been something I could have taken to address the issue.

I’ve been reading great reviews for the red light therapy helmets. I’d really like to get one but they’re so expensive.

I’m also on Minoxidil. For the first 8 weeks I shed probably a quarter of my hair and it was awful. I now have two inches of re-growth and it’s looking much better. It only lasts as long as you continue with it though, and then you lose all the extra hair.

Are you using oral or topical minoxidil please?

I’ve got this and had it before, my ferritin levels and vit d are low, so back in iron tablets and high strength vitamin d, it does work but takes time. Get your bloods done and see what comes back as you may need supplements.
