Party dress for older teen

Just that really. Where is good to look for a 17 year old to wear to an 18th party. Dd is a wide jeans and tiny top kind of girl but keen to find something.

Dd is a curvy size 8, about 5ft 5

Zara or Mango. They usually have a few party pieces.

Why a dress? These are Zara. Varying styles but why not trousers? Or even modern jeans with a sparkly top?

Asos. DD same shape and size. Got a 10 for her prom stretchy fabric and it fitted perfectly. Lots of 10s too big and 8s too small but this fitted perfectly.
