Stylish shoes for aching feet

I have pain under my toes (just under toes, right in the middle) on left foot, it only comes on when I'm walking. No pain if I wear trainers or Birkenstocks. Instant relief when I sit down. I've tried insoles, no difference. I'm getting so fed up being restricted to trainers, they don't go with everything. Does anyone have any recommendations for shoes that are good for this sort of foot pain please? I'm seeing GP next week but I had an x.ray on feet a few weeks ago and nothing showed up so who knows what the issue is. Thanks!

My guess as a fellow sufferer is that your shoes might not offer enough arch support.
It might be worth seeing a podiatrist.
Shoes that offer good arch support might be Vionics or Fitflops, but I haven't tried them.

Hoping someone else will be able to suggest something.

My Morton’s neuroma felt like this. Ask for an ultrasound or an MRI scan as it’s a soft tissue condition.

I thought it might be Morton's neuroma, but OP had seen the GP. Might be worth asking the GP again.
