my skin has almost overnight started to look duller. Can anyone recommend a really good moisturiser. Hopefully around the ten pound mark

Do you use an exfoliant either chemical or a muslin cloth cleanser ,
Get the dull skin off first then your moisturiser can get to work .

The Garnier Vitamin C one is good! Only about £6 on offer in Superdrug / Sainsbury's

I don’t exfoliate at all. I will definitely start doing this . Garnier vitamin c sounds great

Cerave is good. Here goes my routine:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Evening:
Micellar water
Cerave moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

I've found The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner an absolute game changer. I spent a couple of weeks using it every 2nd or 3rd day but now use it every morning, it's like water so I drip some in my palm and pat it all over with fingers (not round eyes!). When it dries it has a very slightly tacky/greasy feel so isn't at all drying. It has brightened my complexion totally and you get a large bottle that lasts for ages.

I can't recommend a particular moisturiser, hut I can recommend looking on the Boots website on £10 Tuesdays. You will get a bargain there, the Boots No7 range is good and usually have a selection of their skincare available for a tenner (down from the £20'ish full price)

Hi I've recently just started to buy from the give me range and they have a big sale on at the moment. They do sets with different things in for different skin types. I use glycolic acid rather than exfoliate as this feels more gentle on my skin. I use it with a microfibre cloth. I then use a Nivea cleanser which again is gentle followed by vitamin c serum, give me moisturiser and SPF cream. My skin always goes dry and dull in winter time so I always use ABIT more than I do in summer.
